Information

"Sexual assault is any type of sexual contact or behavior that occurs without the explicit consent of the recipient. Falling under the definition of sexual assault are sexual activities as forced sexual intercourse, forcible sodomy, child molestation, incest, fondling, and attempted rape."

As the lead surgeon, Dr. Swainston performing, according to my information from AAGL and ACOG, an unnecessary sensitive surgical procedure on me from my groin without my consent, or even next of kin's knowledge, in my opinion, meets that definition for sexual assault.  I feel this is especially cruel considering the discussion he and I had 48 hours prior to him doing that, which discussion is noted in my medical records as well.

My knowledge of the procedure only came after I had to legally compel my medical records for another surgeon.  (I won't cover needing surgery for endometriosis after the hysterectomy and removal of ovaries he performed; or his/the office's lack of bedside manner.)  Instead of financially stepping up to cover for the damage he caused in doing that procedure, including but not limited to months of needed therapy, he forced me to take "on-going" legal action, per the letter from Nevada State Bar.  One has to wonder why a former LDS bishop would not step up and take financial responsibility...or at the very least apologize.  I have yet to hear him apologize for, in my opinion, assaulting me over two years ago (though it has not quite been two years since I learned it where I had to read of it 7 months later).  For someone who touts his faith as so important to him on his office website, it seems to not be in my opinion.

The procedure occurred at Summerlin Hospital, where Dr. Martin assisted in surgery and in my opinion supports Dr. Swainston.  How do two surgeons, with years of experience each, perform a surgical procedure in front of Summerlin's OR staff from that area of a woman's body and not one person tells even patient's next of kin in the waiting room?  That isn't a mistake; that is intentional harm in my opinion.  It is also my opinion that Summerlin Hospital supports him in his assault of me.  Inappropriate actions weren't limited to surgery either.

It is also my opinion that Lt. Governor Mark Hutchison, John Steffen, Jacob Reynolds (and his wife Dr. Tammy Reynolds, ObGyn and associate of Dr. Swainston) support Dr. Swainston in his assault of me.  This conclusion of mine was reached given actions of the law firm Hutchison & Steffen that prompted Nevada State Bar to investigate.

I believe that Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners, appointed by the governor of Nevada, supports Dr. Swainston in his assault of me as well.  All I have ever gotten from them are letters telling me that they are delaying their decision, before they stopped updating me altogether.  To my knowledge, Dr. Swainston has not been professionally sanctioned for, in my opinion, sexually assaulting me.

It is also my opinion that LDS individuals Dr. Jeffrey Parker, Lt. Governor Mark Hutchison, Mr. Mitch McClellan, Mr. John Steffen, Mr. Jacob Reynolds, and possibly others support Dr. Swainston in his assault of me.

It is also a strange concept to me that Dr. Swainston, whose former business partner was convicted of what he was convicted of, would do anything remotely unethical and then document it in medical records.  This leads me to wonder what all occurred that did not make it into my medical records if he will document performing a surgical procedure on me from that area of my body without my consent or knowledge.

Almost two years ago, Dr. Swainston tried to blame my being upset on buyer's remorse over a hysterectomy.  I think my hysterectomy was a wonderful thing; because if I had not had a hysterectomy I would not be able to say I will never go to the gynecologist ever again.  With no reproductive system I can avoid going to the gynecologist ever again...and I was right to view all doctors suspiciously.

My only regret is that I ever met Dr. Swainston; because, while I may not be suicidal, I still feel almost two years later that it would have been more humane if he had killed me in my hysterectomy.

Finally it is also my opinion that the LDS (Mormon) church headquarters, who is aware, supports Dr. Swainston, a former bishop, performing actions that fit the DOJ definition of sexual assault because they haven't sanctioned him to my knowledge; and they certainly haven't offered me any explanation other than, in my opinion, to try to pin responsibility on to me in the second, and latest, communication.  I am not here to debate the changes in the church handbook regarding homosexuals and their children; but if people who are legally married to someone of the same sex are generally considered apostates, and children living with them are generally prohibited from church blessings and ordinances, then I am not sure why nothing has been done to religiously sanction Dr. Swainston.  I do not understand why legal channels are necessary for my situation when people who are legally married are being religiously sanctioned.  As long as I have written proof that I did not consent to that procedure from my groin, and I do, then I have no idea why the Mormon church is not taking action given their stance toward homosexual individuals.  In my opinion the Mormon church supports Dr. Swainston in his sexual assault of me...and in my opinion this could possibly be more widespread.
